Day 1–2

Chobe National Park – Welcome among the elephants

Accommodation: Muchenje Safari Lodge (2 nights)

Your honeymoon begins in the beautiful Chobe National Park, famous for its immense elephant herds and impressive sunsets.
The Muchenje Safari Lodge is situated on a hill at the western edge of the park, far from the busier tourist areas. From here, you overlook the Chobe River and the plains of Namibia — a panoramic backdrop for an unforgettable start.

Day 1 – Arrival & relaxation
After the long flight, you will be met at Kasane airport and transferred to the lodge.
Today there’s no planned program – just rest and enjoyment. Take your time and immerse yourself in the silence of the bush and enjoy the breathtaking view from the terrace or from the pool.
At sunset, your first sundowner drink awaits, as the sky above the river turns orange and purple. In the evening, an intimate candlelit dinner and then early to bed to be well-rested for the safari adventure.

Day 2 – Boat cruise & Chobe Valley
Experience the best of Chobe both on land and water! After breakfast, you depart from Muchenje to the eastern side of the park for a relaxing boat trip of about 2.5 hours on the Chobe River. Sail along green banks and spot elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and countless birds while enjoying a delicious picnic on board.

After the boat trip, a leisurely game drive back through the park follows, with ample opportunity to see even more wildlife. A long, adventurous day full of unforgettable nature moments – the ultimate Chobe experience!

The day ends with a dinner under a sparkling starry sky.

Day 3–5

Khwai Private Reserve – Where Adventure and Romance Meet

Accommodation: Elephant Pan Lodge (3 nights)
Transport: Bush plane from Kasane Airport to Khwai Private Reserve

Today you fly by bush plane (the first of two) to the pristine Khwai Private Reserve, bordering the famous Moremi Game Reserve, the Khwai River, and Chobe National Park. The area is known as one of the best places in Botswana for wildlife spotting.

Here you have a great chance to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and wild dogs, in addition to the many antelopes and colorful bird species that the reserve is rich in.

An ideal destination for those seeking intense wildlife experiences in an unspoiled environment.

The Elephant Pan Lodge is located deep in the reserve, overlooking a watering hole where elephants, impalas, and antelopes gather daily.

Experience the wilderness of this private reserve in various unforgettable ways. Begin and end your day with exciting morning and afternoon safaris, exploring the park when the animals are most active.

For photography enthusiasts, a visit to the underground hide is an absolute must – here you can observe wildlife up close and take unique photos.

Those looking for a special adventure can even sleep under the stars at Skybeds (optional).

Put on your walking shoes and experience nature up close during a guided walking safari with an experienced ranger. This activity is seasonal.

After some action, you can relax by the pool, with a fantastic view over the savanna and the wildlife roaming around – the perfect place to experience the African sunset.

A great mix of adventure, relaxation, and pure African nature experience!

Day 6–8

Okavango Delta – Love in the World's Most Beautiful Water Paradise

Accommodation: Mokolwane Camp (3 nights)
Transport: helicopter from Elephant Pan Lodge to Mokolwane Camp

After breakfast, the helicopter awaits you for a flight to the Xudum concession, 1,800 km² in size and located in the southwest of the Okavango Delta. The charming and secluded Mokolwane Camp is the only camp in this area and is hidden among palms, along a marsh river where wildlife constantly passes by.

A special detail: the Netflix documentary Living with Leopards was filmed here — you are literally in the habitat of these majestic cats.

Here you will enjoy:

  • Jeep safaris: discover various ecosystems and spot predators as they follow the large herds.
  • Mokoro safari: glide quietly through the waterways in your mokoro (traditional canoe) and enjoy an intimate adventure (depending on water levels).
  • Relaxation at your tent: lean back on your shady terrace, coffee and binoculars in hand, and admire the impressive animals that sometimes appear close to your camp.
  • Bird watching: a paradise for bird lovers, with numerous species to discover.
  • Stargazing: under the clear, open African sky, enjoy breathtaking starry skies – a magical experience for two.
  • Enjoying a glass of wine by the campfire

Perfect for couples who want to experience the wild beauty of Botswana together, with unforgettable moments of adventure and romance.

Day 9–11

Wilderness of Karangoma Camp

Accommodation: Karangoma Camp (3 nights)
Transport: Helicopter from Mokolwane Camp to Karangoma Camp

Your journey continues by helicopter to the remote Karangoma Camp, a luxurious tented camp on the edge of a permanent water channel in the northeast of the Okavango Delta, in the Mapula and Sekwana concession. Ideal for lovers seeking a pure, less visited side of the Okavango.

The spacious, traditionally designed Meru tents are strategically positioned to offer the most beautiful views over the floodplain – perfect for a honeymoon full of tranquility and romance.

Each tent features an open bedroom and lounge, with mesh windows facing the plain, and an en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers. The interior is elegantly designed with modern prints inspired by traditional Hambukushu basket art, from headboard to cushions and cabinet lining.

Perfect for couples who want to wake up to breathtaking views, luxurious comfort, and a unique African atmosphere.

Here too, you can fully enjoy nature, wildlife, and each other.

Day 12

Maun – Back to the Inhabited World

Accommodation: Maun Studios (1 night)
Transport: Helicopter and Bush plane from Karangoma Camp to Maun

After breakfast, you fly by helicopter and bush plane back to Maun, the gateway to the wonderful Okavango.
